Monde Daka popularly known as Shupiwe has goes international as East Africans seem to be loving her character in Mpali where she plays Mr Nguzus fifth wife. Mpali is a local Zambian drama series which follows a story of a polygamist Mr Nguzu who is married to seven women.
From being a local Zambian drama series originally filmed in Zambian local languages and English, Mpali was translated to “Swahili” a language that is widely spoken in Eastern Africa and introduced to an MNet Owned Zambezi Magic Sister Channel, Maisha Magic Bongo a channel that only airs in East Africa.
Comments on the Maisha Magic Bongo Facebook post confirm that East Africans are really loving Shupiwe. Maisha Magic Bongo posted a scene in Mpali and the comments section was full of Shupiwe’s name.
